Part 1
This image is actually a collection of separate images put together in order to show a kind of slowed-down perspective of a back handspring. The reason I like this photo so much is because it's the one I put the most work into, along with my wonderfully talented and patient subject. We had to worry about people getting into the background, the sun being too directly in the shot, making sure the subject started and ended within the frame, and a few other obstacles. I'm really happy with how it turned out and am proud of the final product. I really like taking and putting together images such as these, so I could definitely see myself doing more of this in the future. In order to make those future pictures stronger than this, I think I will try taking the same picture from different angles. Looking back, it would've been nice to see how this looked from a front-end or even back-end perspective. I will keep this in mind for the future.
Part 2
Hi,
I really liked the effect created by the steel beams of the bridge in your picture. It creates a nice repetitive effect as it draw the eye to the center of the picture. I also liked the accompanying shadows on the road from the beams. You can really see how the angle of the sun plays a part in not only adding this subtle touch to the foreground, but also makes the beams seem almost darker. It makes me feel like I'm going down a gloomy tunnel, but the accompanying light doesn't make me feel sacred or anything negative.
For constructive criticism, I would recommend being conscious of the borders of your image. I think this image could've been stronger if the black car hood at the bottom of the photo was not visible. I would also make sure the camera is not tilting too much because it can take away from the symmetry that could've been created by the steel bars. This would, in my opinion, make your image look better as well.
